Mel managed the unit my partner and I rented for 5 years, only to decide she wanted to move herself and her entire family in. After being offered a 12 month lease renewal in writing, our request for the approval of a pet was used against us to terminate the offer. When we mentioned we would prefer to remain at the property without a pet, we were then told the owner was relocating from interstate and moving back into the unit. We relocated to another unit within the same complex and the day after we handed her back the keys, I observed Mel and her entire family moving in. Upon learning we were now neighbors, we were advised in writing by Mel that 'the cat saga' was the reason to end our tenancy, and that she had been offered the lease. This is a direct quote from her email correspondence and one of many email trails that I have saved to verify my statements. I would not trust this woman to manage a property, and renters be wary. Keys Reality and their Director, condone this unethical behavior. After escalating to both the landlord and Keys Realty, I was threatened and dismissed by Keys Realty. Suggest doing your business elsewhere.

Have used Mel as our property manager over many years. Mel is outstanding to deal with, and makes our life easy, without having to worry about our GC property. Mel always finds excellent tenants, then manages the property taking care of whatever needs to be done. Even better, she's always a delight to deal with, and goes out of her way to assist us. We consider ourselves fortunate to have Mel as our property manager.
