Find Real Estate Agent AU lists real estate agents businesses across Australia. This page explains where the information comes from, how the texts are produced and how the order on listing pages is calculated.

Where the data comes from Business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, overall rating and reviews come from publicly available sources and are re-checked at regular intervals. We do not alter reviews and we do not write our own. Businesses that have closed permanently are removed at the next update.

How business descriptions are written Where a business page carries a description, it is not the business's own marketing copy. It is an editorial summary of the reviews available to us: which services are actually described, what is praised repeatedly, and what practical points follow from that. The texts are prepared with the help of automated text analysis and checked editorially; no services, prices, awards or figures are stated unless the reviews or the business data support them.

How the order is calculated An average rating on its own says little: a business with three five-star reviews would otherwise rank above one with 400 reviews and a 4.9 average. We therefore weight the rating by the number of reviews – a business's score is pulled towards the average of all businesses compared, the more so the fewer reviews it has. The comparison table on business pages and the "top rated" note on listing pages follow this weighted score. There are no paid placements.
