Explore Property Mackay was one of the most frustrating real estate experiences I have dealt with. The property management side in particular was extremely poor. Communication from Kimberly was dismissive and unhelpful throughout the process. I had specifically mentioned to the sales agent Justin that I intended to continue using Explore Property as the managing agent after settlement. I was assured this would be organised, however after hearing nothing for several weeks and being one week out from settlement, my solicitor followed it up, only to receive the response from Kimberly: “Unfortunately we are not prepared to take on your client.” Completely unprofessional and handled terribly. The overall management of the tenants and property was also very poor. The tenants had received notices from council regarding the condition of the overgrown yard, the property was cluttered and poorly maintained, and damaged windows with missing panes of glass had apparently been left unresolved for an extended period of time. It was clear there had been very little proactive management of the property. The property itself was also advertised in a way that did not accurately reflect its true condition. The online photos made the house appear immaculate and professionally presented, however the building and pest inspection photos showed a very different reality — clutter throughout the property, overgrown yard, deteriorated windows throughout the with missing panes of glass on 3 windows, damaged window frames, The marketing images were digitally enhanced and digitally staged, which created a misleading impression of the property’s actual condition. The sales process became unnecessarily stressful due to poor communication between the sales and property management departments. Very disappointing experience overall. Do better..
