Toohey Property Management

Extremely disappointing. I have been waiting 2 weeks for a plumber but have been consistently met with "waiting for ownership approval". Toohey property management does not care about their tenants enough to ensure they have working amenities.

Toohey certainly stand out from other property managers. I had recently bought a property in a location that is considered by most standards desirable but was struggling to find a tenant with the previous managers. Toohey had proactively reached out to me and confirmed my suspicions identifying that the property should have been leased within a week of being advertised. Despite this, I was reluctant to move and decided to give the existing managers more time. After another week, leads that went nowhere, and a banal recommendation to steeply drop the rent - significantly below the going rate - I decided to call time on the previous managers. Within a week of the property being advertised by Toohey, a tenant had been secured true to their word. Many thanks to the proactive management by Sam Dearnaley and Zoe Camilleri. Their approach is not dressed in flashy marketing materials or boilerplate prospective tenant inspection reports that go nowhere. They take real action to secure a tenant and pick up the phone and give real insight and time out of their day. This is what true value is. My only regret is not heeding their advice and making the move sooner.
