We previously rented through Biggin Scott and had the pleasure of dealing with Mark Vorstenbosch. He was incredible from start to end of our lease. We were moving down from Melbourne and had explained our unique situation to him and he did everything he could to help get us into a rental as quickly as possible. During the lease if we ever had any questions or queries he was a pleasure to deal with and quick to help. We are looking to buy in the future and hopefully we can cross paths again with Mark.

Francesca was friendly, honest and efficient right from our very first phone conversation. We bought a house and rented it through Biggin and Scott Ballarat and are very happy with our experience.

Exceptional Delivery! Francesca was up-front, professional, organised, accurate and informative right from the get go, she listed our house for us during a difficult time to sell given the Covid19 buyer trends changing and managed to not only close the sale but get us a better price than we expected. Altogether it was great doing business with her and I would definitely use her services again.

Fran is friendly, warm, and professional and went above and beyond what she needed to, to help both parties achieve their goals. We'd talked to several agents about marketing our adjoining properties, and were given varying opinions. Initial high expectations from "agent one" were then toned down a bit. Our own views were challenged severely by "agent two". This "pricked our balloon" and we felt quite despondent. We questioned our own judgement about what our places were worth. We then had our properties independently valued, and were happy with the valuations. Deciding to ask a third agent, we sought an opinion from James Nicol. His presentation was professional, detailed and thorough. James told us straight out what he thought we would get. He talked about a marketing strategy and discussed the pros and cons of different methods of sale, explaining why he held those views. There was no pressure. We engaged James to sell our properties. We listed on the Thursday, inspections were on the Saturday, multiple offers came in on the Monday, negotiations were concluded on the Tuesday. The sale price for my property was 20% above the sworn valuation. Working with James was seamless. I have no hesitation in recommending James for anyone wanting to sell.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Fran and James on the sale of my mum’s home. Right from the beginning they were professional and had a great knowledge of the Soldier’s Hill area, but were also friendly and down-to-earth. Selling a home during a pandemic was a bit of a challenge (with travel restrictions etc.) and Fran was always honest and clear in her communications with my siblings and me during he process. We are extremely pleased with the result we got and wouldn’t hesitate to work with Fran again.
