Thanks korn Real estate, for getting our first leased property . Really appreciate your time and effort. The documentation and processing time was quick. Every time we called for any help you guys were always with us.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do NOT rent through Korn Real Estate, and absolutely avoid dealing with their property manager Luna. My partner and I moved out from the property more than three months ago, and trying to get our bond back has been unbelievably difficult. Luna provided absolutely no assistance throughout the entire process. First, it took over a month just for them to calculate how much bond would be returned. Then, when we were required to submit our information, Luna failed to inform either of us that we needed to approve the bond claim through CBS. There was zero guidance. What’s even more unacceptable is that we took over the lease from a previous tenant through Korn Real Estate. Luna never informed us that when we move out, the previous tenant would also need to approve the bond release. We were never told this at any point. After we moved out, she simply stopped caring about any of our issues. Since I do not have the previous tenant’s contact details, we asked for assistance. The response? “That’s not our responsibility.” Excuse me — wasn’t the previous tenant also renting through Korn Real Estate? We rented through Korn Real Estate. She rented through Korn Real Estate. How is this suddenly not your responsibility? I have been renting in Australia for seven years and have never encountered such issues with a lease transfer. Even now, Luna continues to deny responsibility and is extremely difficult to contact. Once you left, communication becomes almost impossible. I genuinely had no idea what steps I was supposed to take for the bond because she essentially disappeared. It has now been over three months. Her personal phone is unreachable. The only way to contact her is through the company’s landline. We have been told that if we want our bond back, we must personally track down the previous tenant or take the matter to court — and pay the legal costs ourselves. This is beyond unreasonable. We did nothing wrong as tenants, yet retrieving our own bond has become a nightmare. In all my years of renting, this is the first time I have experienced something so unprofessional and irresponsible. Unfortunately, we were unlucky enough to have Luna as our property manager.
