I’ve had the privilege of working with Chris Guest who was a highly referred individual. We worked on searching for a property suitable for me and his knowledge on the market within neighborhood expertise was invaluable. The property search can be an overwhelming experience especially for a first timer and it was comforting having someone like Chris as a sounding board to aid in decision making, understand things to watch out for, etc. Chris actually advocated time and energy on property search once he was able to spend ample time to understand our specific requirements and even inspected, captured photos/videos when I was pre-occupied with other commitments. Highly recommended for sourcing! However, towards the end, it felt quite rushed and I would have appreciated if Chris had the patience to walk me through the step by step process of the important aspects of necessary paperwork so that I’m fully clear on what I’m getting into which he did not quite maintain that and was keen to quickly wrap up by requesting for reviews and testimonial which I thought felt a bit off-putting. Chris is great for building a relationship, but to get to the detail or be absolutely thorough with paperwork, I could see he struggles with that. Im someone who’s quite thorough with the process, would have appreciated if Chris understood the nuances of what I’m looking for prior to closing the deal.
