We recently settled on the sale of our property with BUR real estate. Bart & David were knowledgeable & respectful to us for the entirety of the matter, always keeping their buyers best interests at heart. We did experience a delay in settlement, due to the buyers “boutique” property law firm not having adequate and appropriate experience with property law. In the 11th hour our conveyancer & Susan engaged in numerous & lengthy phone calls with their legal team & the buyer, educating the law firm on the “next steps” & walking them through the legal tasks required so that they (the law firm) could finalise obligations for their clients purchase of their home. Susan, Bart & David kept their professional composure whilst the buyer continued to raise additional requests in the weeks preceding an unconditional settlement. Appropriately so, Susan defended the unfounded accusation that we (the buyers) were intentionally delaying settlement. As sellers we are happy with the treatment & the overall conduct of the sale of our home. If you are a seller that is expecting an agency to be honest; pragmatic, respectful & “have your back” - BUR Real Estate will do just that, after all a real estates duty of care is to have the best interest of their buyer as they are receiving compensation from the buyer to do their job.

As the vendor of a sale with BUR I could not be happier! From David and Bart being transparent and helpful throughout the whole process unlike some other agents in the area, to Susan getting involved to help out at the 11th hour when the buyer kept delaying settlement and trying dirty tactics with their legal team to claw back pennies for things not even in the contract. It's nice to have a team of agents that work together and back their vendor instead of taking the easy way out and costing their vendor money. I will highly recommend BUR moving forward.

We recently purchased a property through BUR Real Estate. Our dealings with the agent (David) were professional and while there were a few hiccups, he managed the process well. However, we did have a minor settlement delay (outside of our personal control). I received several unsolicited, highly inappropriate and quite frankly, disgusting, phone calls from the Owner/Director. In one call, she blamed me for the delay in settlement, made unfounded insinuations about my relationship with my legal team, questioned my choice of representation, and made several offensive remarks, including calling me “a disgusting rude little thing.” Personally, I found this behaviour bizarre and concerning that the Owner/Director would choose to conduct themselves in this manner whilst representing their business. If you interact with people with kindness and respect, and except this of your representation, then I would caution you from using BUR real estate as unfortunately their values do not align with this philosophy.

We bought our first home with the help of Bart. He was amazing through the whole process from our first inspection to negotiating a sale prior to auction. We really appreciated his professionalism, genuineness and communication.

We were very impressed with how BUR carried out the sale of our farm and the fact that it sold before the auction. Bart was very good with communication and kept us in the loop at all times. Would definitely use BUR again.
