Serena Fonua, at Harcourts Melbourne City Central. I have to say that dealing with Serena Fonua at Harcourts has been an absolutely wonderful experience as she is always positive in her assessment of any problem that I encounter with my rental investment property even when we happen to get into a difficult situation with a rental Tenant. Having been with Harcourts for many years and having had Serena as my go to agent for the entire duration; she has not let me down with her truly exceptional knowledge about the procedures required to gain a tenant like tenancy checks, advertising, letting and all the safety and property compliance regulations that are needed to be updated each year for my unit, as well as the upkeep and replacement of furnishings like Couches, TV’s, Fridge’s, Microwave’s, Carpet etc. which she purchases and obtains whatever is required and has it installed as I live two hours out of Melbourne and am unable to do this. Professional, thorough and across her brief. I have been using Harcourts Melbourne City for a few years now. I have found their service to be professional, very thorough and to the point when it comes to detail. As a Landlord I need to understand where the market sits with regards to rental yields and I get that information directly and clearly from Mikaele at Harcourts. Where do I start?? After reading some of these reviews I keep thinking they are talking about a different agency… or maybe I just got unlucky with my agent? MIKAELE HORSNELL. It’s really interesting to note that the other ONE star review is in reference to her too? So to summate… I moved in to a fully furnished small property and had to deal with 3 horrible, mouldy chairs on the balcony and lots of bedding that was old and left by the previous tenant… great start. Then one time I went out onto my balcony and closed the door behind me and got locked out. This was at 6 am and I had to call an emergency locksmith. After talking to Mikaele at 9 she had zero empathy and tried to blame it on me. Needless to say they didn’t reimburse me. That was my breaking point, so I broke the lease. Now they are trying to get me to pay for $350 cleaning fees after I inherited a property that wasn’t even fully clean and had crap that was left from the other tenant. Really, read the other 1 star review.. it’s true. Mikaele doesn’t even bother to reply to any of your needs and when they need something from YOU they reply or call you immediately. JUST A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE overall. Please, please, please stay away from this agency…. And I bet they won’t even bother to reply to this HONEST review

Dionne is an exceptional agent. She sold me this property 3-4 years ago and when it came time to sell, I knew it had to be her as well. She’s diligent, so smart, straightforward, and great at communicating. All the things that are required to trust an agent with your home. Highly recommend.
