Dealing with Gordon Prewett is a nightmare. Most difficult person. So unreliable and nasty. He cannot be trusted with owners’ levy monies. We cannot enjoy owning the property while he is the Strats Manager. We wish to sell but our for sale signs get either stolen or vandalised. He breaks the Strata laws by ensuring that our lot does not get repairs to its common areas. He acts like he is more important than us yet it’s our monies which are his income. Toxic man.

My physically challenged son recently bought a villa managed by Jetty Strata manager Gordon Prewitt. Dealing with this manager has been extremely difficult, he will ignore most emails, totally evasive when it comes to dealing with repairs covered by Strata, as a matter of fact he will try to convince you that the owner is responsible for external repairs. He recently managed to persuade other owners to allow a Special Levy to cover for termite treatments to the the tune of $34,000 to be fully paid for upfront by owners on top of the already inflated $10,000 p.a of ordinary levies. The maintenance person charges $650 per week for the garden, common areas and tiny swimming pool, there are no other common areas. Fact is such Special Levy was not meant to be raised as there was enough funds from ordinary levies to cover for such expense.
