I had a great experience renting with Freemans Cairns in 1/6 Pyne street. The process was smooth from start to finish, and Jade, the property manager, along with the reception staff, were always professional and supportive. Inspections were handled well, and we were regularly appreciated for taking good care of the property. I received my full bond back without any issues. Now that I’ve moved into my own home, I truly feel lucky to have rented through Freemans. Highly recommended.

Absolutely appalling conduct from the Principal, Arran Faithfull. Despite Freeman’s Property not managing the property, Arran Faithfull repeatedly sent staff who breached my rights as a tenant—multiple times. Then, without any notice, he personally turned up at the property, attempted to insult me, and made threatening remarks. It was an outrageous display of unprofessionalism and intimidation. This behaviour was reported to the RTA, who addressed the matter appropriately. Based on other recent reviews, this kind of conduct appears to be a recurring theme—not an isolated incident. I would never recommend Freeman’s Property to anyone seeking respectful, lawful, or ethical treatment. Absolutely disgraceful.

Finally I got my first place to live for me and my family, and I never thought this would happen to us. With a very friendly agent, Priscilla May was very helpful and helped collect the documents very easily and quickly. Thank you very much Freemans Property Agent, we are very happy.

I have never been more disappointed as a tenant and previous agent at the poor level of communication that this agency offers. We have recently had our landlord select freeman’s to manage the rental property we are occupying. We have received no correspondence from freeman’s regarding where to pay, contact details for our new property manager or just a simple introduction. I understand that freeman’s may be working through the finer details of appointing an agent to manage this property, however, communication goes a long way when working with people and their homes. When I called the office the phone rang out - I couldn’t even get them to answer a phone call. I have previously rented through this agency in a different property and I’m dissatisfied to know that their communication skills have not improved. Very very disappointed that this will be the lasting impression this agency leaves with me.

I’ve been renting in the Cairns market now for over 25 years and been renting with Freeman’s Residential for over 14.5 years and never have I met a Totally Genuine, Nice Person like Heidi that is so Friendly, Hard Working, Quick at responding to repairs and Dedicated to her job. In all the time I've rented, Heidi would have to Stand out as being the Best Property Manager I’ve ever had, which says a lot for Heidi and Freeman’s Residential. So if your looking for a Property you can’t go wrong with Freeman’s Residential as I will be here for many years to come because your not treated like a Number but like a Person which is very important these days. So Freeman’s Residential please don’t let Heidi go, As she’s a RARE Find like a GEM! Unfortunately Heidi went back to her home country but Yvette has taken her place as Senior Property Manager and is another Rare GEM! How lucky freeman’s Residential is to find someone so awesome, and she totally takes care of you, as an individual special person just like Heidi did. I needed Yvette to do some special paperwork for me and she bent over backwards to take care of me, and I will be for ever grateful and indebted to her for life! Thank you so much Yvette for taking special care of me and my matter, you’re one extra special person! And you had big shoes to fill stepping into Heidi’s shoes but you did that with honours! I will never forget the my 14.5 years I spent with Freeman’s Residential in Cairns and the many property managers I had but Heidi & Yvette definitely was the highlight when they came around for property inspections and we got to have our little chats about life in general, so I got to know them a little bit personally and they are awesome young women. Excellent property management. Yvette in Freeman Residental has been a fantastic property manager. She has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure the property is well-maintained and that any tenant issues are resolved quickly. I highly recommend their services

10 out of 10. James was fantastic. He had great knowledge of the market and what we would be able to sell our home for. We were kept in the loop at all times and he was extremely proactive. Not only did he sell our house in less than a week, he got us more than we had it advertised for. We would recommend James and Freemans Real Estate to anyone who wants to sell and get top dollar for their property.
