I rented with this agency for 4 years. Sophia Bassett Scarfe is professional and kind, wonderful Property Manager.

We had real bad experience with Basset Scarfe real estate agents when we brought this new house which was on rental lease at that time. We reached out multiple times with questions about the property, but never received a timely or appropriate response, plenty of unanswered emails and the response was barely addressing any queries. We felt like we were constantly chasing them for information, and they never seemed to prioritize our needs. Although the rental lease which was on the property initially ended, they haven’t send a final inspection report or any updates still 5 months down the line. Shockingly, they have still got hold of the spare house keys and the garage keys which is illegal and never handed over after asking multiple times and we had to change all the keys at our own costs. It was the same with clearing out all the furnitures and rubbish from previous owner, we ended up paying it out of our pockets and further requesting us to keep hold of few other possessions uncertainly as they would be needing it at some point which was never acceptable. It was not stress free, not even for a single day due to their absolute mismanagement and worst customer Service.and the move in process was made so complicated with them insulting us and we felt like we were renting the property and the agents were the actual owners eventhough we brought the property! All I can say is, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Very disappointed, my treatment at the hand of most staff including the director left a lot to be desired. 2 months to get rental deposit payment returned is hardly professional. WA tenancy regulations state 14 days. Would not recommend this business to my worst enemy.

Sophia Bassett Scarfe is a very professional and approachable woman taking great personal service to a new level. Her ability to manage tenant and owner needs are unmatched in this busy current market. Very safe hands to handle your nest eggs or investment property.

The sales team know the Mandurah region well and were able to provide specific and relevant advise for this council and nuances of suburbs throughout this region. Adam was always helpful, patient and if he wasn't able to answer queries directly he would connect us to someone who could. Lauren was excellent with coordinating the paperwork and details. Her efficient and clear communication put us at ease through-out the whole process. This high standard of service continued when dealing with the property management team. Our property manager, Sophia, was always polite, respectful and easy to get a hold of. We appreciated her attention to detail in following up maintenance or time sensitive matters that needed to be addressed. When we had questions or concerns she was prompt in addressing them. (We felt as though we were her favourite!) One of the best things about our property management experience was we had only one property manager for the three years we rented our place out. Bassett-Scarfe Realty clearly value their staff and workplace culture. Many of the staff have happily been there for years. Bassett-Scarfe Realty is strongly connected and invested in this community. This is obvious in the way they value relationships and long term commitments, whether that be staff or clientele. This is a very rare and highly valuable quality in this industry.
