Cam Marra refused to give his potential buyers a chance to negotiate their offer at all, costing his seller tens of thousands and costing a young family their dream home.

We had been speaking to Tim Cooper from Summit Realty and many other agents of selling our house in Glen Iris for close to a year. Tim was the only agent who was not pushy for a sale, with only a phone call once a month to inform us of how the market was trending and how our situation was with the potential move. Nothing was an issue from him, even random calls were always returned promptly with professionalism and he even came to our house several times and sat down to explain the process thoroughly and what our options were. Not once did we feel he was there to make money, only that the ball was entirely in our court and we had the option to do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. When we finally made the decision, Tim and his crew couldn't have made it any easier. We were 1st home buyers when we bought the place from Tim 3.5 years ago and obviously this was our first house sale too. From start to finish we can't praise Tim and his dedicated crew of professionals enough for giving us a seamless sale and no stress. Plus the price we achieved was way beyond what we were anticipating. We have no hesitation in recommending Tim Cooper and Summit Realty 110% to anyone looking to buy or sell in the South West. Very disappointed. Summit managed our rental for almost 4 years. They started off very well, we loved our property manager, however she left a few years ago and the service went downhill after that. I would describe their service as average at best for the remaining couple of years. Once we decided to sell our property and not use Summit as our sale agent, they completely lost interest. They were very unhelpful in getting anything ready for the tenants exit or the upcoming sale (while the tenants were still in the property and we were still paying them an agent fee). They tried to sneak an extra fee onto our statement which they called a $500 "loss of management fee". There is nothing in the contract or payment schedule about this fee, so they reimbursed us only after I questioned it. Very cheeky of them to hope that we wouldn't notice. I do not recommend their service as a leasing agent.

My Husband and I had such a great experience working with Ben Wood and all of the Summit Bunbury team. Everyone had clear and direct communication with no nonsense. We really felt like we were dealing with real people, and we were treated as the same. The experience of purchasing our home was made so easy with their help.
