William was both very professional and a pleasure to interact with; he showed us around the property and pointed out all the positives without being pushy, and then allowed us time and space to inspect on our own. Communication was excellent, he responded quickly to all calls and messages, and patiently answered each of my many questions, with not a single one fobbed off. He was also extremely accommodating and allowed us multiple inspections without making us feel that we were being a nuisance. If you’re looking for a really great agent to work with I highly recommend William Weier.

Very poor experience renting our house out via LJ Hooker. Over our 12 months with this company, we had 4 different property managers all with poor communication. We also discovered across the course of the tenancy that the tenants were actually good friends with the first property manager. This biased relationship was never disclosed to us by LJ hooker. When our tenants moved out, an exit inspection was not done for approx 4 days and only completed because we chased it up. Once LJ arrived there, they let us know that a pipe had burst and flooded the entire upper level of the house. Although I believe this was an unfortunate coincidence, the extent of the damage could have been avoided if LJ hooker had done a timely exit report. This lead us to needing a full kitchen replacement and 9 months of vacant property. After having new tenants now for a few weeks and with 'Just Us' Realty I can absolutely say the property management at LJ hooker was subpar in comparison. Landlords, consider your options carefully. EDIT in response to owners reply: The assessor found water damage caused by days of unattended water pooling. Our tenants lease ended on 16/9 and the exit inspection was completed on 19/9. We have already tried to provide direct feedback to you last year which was not met with any remedial discussion.

Dylan was really easy to deal with and answered all our questions. We’ve been through the selling/ buying process quite a few times, and this was one of our easiest.

We had a very disappointing experience renting through LJ Hooker. Throughout our tenancy, communication from property managers including Shanae, Shania and Sophie was consistently poor, particularly regarding repairs and general transparency. Each time our property manager change we were not notified which lead to confusion on who to contact, leading to further relationship breakdown. Our air conditioner was broken for 6 months over summer before being repaired, and other essential maintenance items were also delayed despite minimum housing standards requirements e.g locks, showers At the end of the tenancy, unrealistic cleaning expectations were raised despite us arranging a professional bond clean through one of the agency’s recommended cleaners. We were also not provided with the entry report when requested. After 4 years of paying rent on time and receiving no negative inspection feedback, the sudden change in treatment during our exit process was extremely disappointing and felt disrespectful. Based on our experience, we would not choose LJ Hooker again for renting, buying or selling, and would not recommend them to others.
