Our experience with Elders Gladstone and Tannum Sands was defined by poor communication, lack of accountability, and a serious lack of professionalism and integrity. A major red flag from the beginning was the lack of transparency between roles. Promises made during onboarding about communication standards and service delivery were not honoured once the property was handed to the property management team. The expectations set at the beginning did not reflect the level of service provided. Throughout our time with Elders, communication was consistently unreliable. Matters raised during phone calls were frequently lost or forgotten, and emails required repeated follow-ups to receive updates. Requests were also not followed through in a timely manner. For example, essential tasks such as water compliance and rent increases were not actioned when instructed, despite multiple reminders. These delays directly resulted in avoidable financial losses. Maintenance matters were another ongoing concern. Issues relating to safety and compliance, including locks, exhaust fans, and fire alarms, required repeated follow-ups before action was taken. Rather than addressing the issues, we were met with comments that our tenants were “difficult” because they worked for a competing real estate agency. This response was unprofessional and showed a disregard for tenant safety and compliance responsibilities. Even after terminating services, Elders were unable to provide accurate and consistent documentation to our new property manager. This raised serious concerns about the reliability of their record-keeping and the integrity of the information maintained during their management of our property. We strongly warn others to do thorough research before engaging with Elders Gladstone and Tannum Sands. If professionalism, transparency, and accountability are important to you as a property owner, we strongly recommend considering alternative providers.

Emma was great from the first phone call. She is very caring and knows the market well. Emma helped me prepare the property for sale and organised trades people for the work. She went above and beyond what you would normally expect from a sales agent. I cannot speak highly enough of Emma and have no hesitation in recommending her to sell your home or investment property.

Jay came to our humble property and pointed out all the good features. Right from the get-go he was enthusiastic and saw the potential in our home. He didn't low ball us but provided a very healthy appraisal of what he felt he could confidently get for our property. When the dust settled we received several offers well over our asking price.
