Very disappointing experience. The service was rude, dismissive, and lacked professionalism. Emails were repeatedly ignored, making communication extremely frustrating. The property manager Diane was unwilling to properly inspect the property by going inside to assess the issues that were raised. As a owner, I expected much better communication and a genuine effort to address problems. Overall, I found the service to be unhelpful and would not recommend this property management company based on my experience. Very bad customer service.

I spoke to Diane Saturday about a property I saw advertised. I asked to view the property. She told me the tenant was still living there, which was fine she asked me to register which I had. She asks me a few questions, I told her we had a cat. She said no cats. I said it says pets allowed she said NO! NO cats allowed I didn't want to argue with her but was confused as to why she was saying no pets when it clearly says pets allowed, she said that Google had stolen the ad, my suggestion was maybe report it as it was false advertising, she was so rude, we had friends around and they could hear her ranting over the top of me. So, I just hung up. She then texts me telling me that she was going to blacklist me. I then told her I would be taking legal action. She ranted on with a few more text messages then said she was blocking me. I thought that was done. I woke this morning to an email from her. This woman is out of her mind. I will be taking this further with her communication to me in writing. And we would never rent from her. Good tenants are hard to find being a previous owner myself. We have excellent references and she judge us on something we were only going by an ad she could have calmly explained but for some reason yelled at me down the phone, I don't know about anyone else but to me she has taken advantage of her position at a time when rentals are at an all-time low. And to blacklist someone based on a conversation that she didn't handle well or professionally. I clearly would not recommend her. Thank you for your response. it was your rude words that offended me the most. I know you can't blacklist us BUT YOU THREATENED TOO. We did find a house for my husband and I and our cat. We rented through Real way property that were fantastic to deal with. They showed us the respect every human deserves. We were dream tenants with our cat. Then we bought a house 6mths ago. I will never deal with you Dianne, You rude unprofessional women. That you for your comment Diane as I said above I bought a house suitable suitable for me & my cat. I could have screen shot your crazy behaviour via text message to me & posted it, but you will dig your own hole. Worst real estate, renters are also property buyers. If your looking for the best real estate to deal with. Leanne at Realway property is amazing 👏

This is likely the 3rd time I've looked at applying to a rental from them only to find out they never list things correctly on any of the websites they use and never read emails. Im applying for a unit or studio and getting more of a share-house arrangement and only find this out, if im lucky over the phone or if im unlucky when im viewing the property. They also dont tend to read emails and answer questions properly having me recite the same question several times. I told them I am disabled, cant drive and dont live in town, so then they ask me if I wont to view the property in an hour. Like HELLO?!? Very unprofessional. Wont be going with them again. Yes I did apply for sth back in august but it really wasnt a good time. I was in the middle of helping family move houses 6 hours apart. When i went to view said property there was nothing in the marketing that told me I was getting a house with 5 other people init. I said to the lady at the time It wasnt what i expected and it was very small but I had nothing else at the time and would need some time to think about it while the move in dalby but i'd still like it if it was still available after. What I did not know is she interpreted this as an "yes i will absolutely take this please let me sign" and then proceeded to take the property off the website. There was no "ghosting" I sent a few emails letting everyone know I was busy and still deciding and got a call the day before the property was available. I ended up finding something far more suited for what I wanted and was able to move in next day. So i sent an email stating that I wasn't interested and found something that wasn't a shoebox and $400 and never received anything back. Yes, I sent 2 emails, one to your site and one from realestate. The first response i got back was the email i proceeded with. Its great you have a standard set of questions but if you want to ignore the question I already posed to you that will directly tell ME if im suitable then whats the point? If there isnt suitable transport then me being unable to drive and walk for long periods am not going to proceed. But you answered my question with more questions that didnt answer my question. Didnt find out till the next day when I was called and told them, no its not suitable. My concern wasn't about you telling me I can look at the property in an hour, it was the disregard of the question when I had already told you I require transport. Im Currently in a studio apartment its far bigger then what i was originally offered and there is no one else living here. Again both times I applied I was never told several other people were living under the same roof. I've heard and seen more then enough posts and Facebook groups about this company and especially the owner, I'd suggest looking at them before proceeding.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I have been dealing with the owner, Diane Baek of DSB Property Management and have been treated horrifically. We had been dealing with this company for an apartment on behalf of my disabled elderly father in law. My father in law was approved for the rental however we got an email with a higher rental amount, my husband who is mentioned in Diane's emails called the office to confirm why there is an increase in the rental amount and to ask if the lease length could be extended from 6 months to 12 months or more. My husband said that he was spoken down to and with utter disrespect about this. When I mentioned this in my emails Diane said that she has alot of "know it alls" call the office questioning everything. She also wished us luck and hoped that someone else can "control us 3". I noted in my email back that her email was highly unprofessional and that looking at the situation as a whole that she was trying to take advantage of an old disabled man. First she stated that my father in law had called them to talk about the property which is where the extra rental amount had been discussed, then her story changed in the next email stating that my husband was actually the one to have had the conversation around this. However if this conversation had of happened why would he call to confirm why there is an extra weekly amount? Utterly disgusting behaviour and will be going to the Realestate Ombudsman. Its sickening to think how many people she has down this to, and how much further she could have taken advantage of my elder disabled father in law if my husband and I were not here to advocate on his behalf. STAY AWAY!!

It is with sadness that I write my experience as a tenant with DSB Realty. Throughout our tenancy we were met with resistence and displeasant, passive agressive emails of which were sent by the owner of the business. Or rent was paid in advance at all times, property inspections indicated nil needs and a full bond refunded on exit. As investors and home owners ourselves, the experience of being 'less than' as we were renting was strongly suggested through the passive agressive communication from Diane and her lack of want to discuss anything with repeated unreturned calls. It is this experience that ensured we would not want to put our own investments with DSB Property Management. Other team were wonderful to speak with. Our property was without oven for almost 3 months due to nil follow up by agency, a lawn mower supplied was in dis repair and never repaired nor removed despite being paid for as part of tenancy and wastewater trades permitted entry without notice before we became aware. When vacating, no refernece supplied despite several requests and agency claiming they had not received notice of request. Reference was supplied via sales agent for property. Email exchange was the only communication option as phone calls were not returned and emails were rude and condesending. I provided feedback in a respectful positive manner which received a reply of 'Thanks'. Highly unprofessional and anxiety provoking deals. Sadly if there was a choice for zero, they would have received it. Complaint will be made to other professional bodies in an attempt to have the business recognise and alter their behaviour. Being penalised with rudenss for requesting property maintenance and rejecting request to meet to discuss is poor loss mitigation for landlords.

I would not rent a matchbox from this woman . Very unprofessional. She is a bully to tenants and extremely difficult to communicate with. She should have her real estate license revoked . I am not alone in my opinion as I know many others who have had bad experiences, whilst dealing with her. RUN AWAY !!!!! ps. 1 star is being extremely generous. pss .. go ahead and reply with your usual claims that you have never heard of me. We can’t all be wrong !!!

On June 21st I contacted Diane and asked why she charged me twice for mattress cleaning that I had already paid for and Supplied receipt of. Was asked by RTA to attempt to work it out with them. They refused and told me they would not refund it. I have heard so many horror stories since then about Di bullying people and blacklisting them because she loves the power. Including from someone who works/ed for her. As a renter I would encourage people to stay away from them. They will almost certainly keep at least 50% of your bond and if you do not use her friends cleaning agency you will ALWAYS be made to come back at least once but usually twice. Photos are not enough with Di for entry reports. They will say it's ok and the photos can be used but then refer to the paperwork on exit. WRITE DOWN EVERY MARK, they will still try to charge you for it but at least you have proof. Spend a minimum of 30mins each room documenting all wear and tear. Only after this post was I refunded and told she would tell any real-estate in the future that I left a negative review
