Core Realty is one of the best real estate agencies I’ve ever dealt with. Everything was well organised, scheduled properly, and prepared in advance. We’ve rented an apartment in Melbourne through them for the past three years and built a great relationship with Elaine Yeo, who has always been ready to help. If we ever move back to Melbourne, I’ll definitely choose Core Realty again.

Jessica, Shaskya, and Michelle are all great agents! They went out of their way to make it a seamless experience for my roommate and me. Other than that, they are all very communicative and helpful throughout the process and throughout our tenancy agreement, either with arranging fixes, scheduled inspections, etc. They are all very lovely!

Core Realty has been wonderful and doing a very good job handling my apartment in Melbourne especially when I have problems with previous agent, Ms Elsa from Core realty personally help to rectify all issues and find new and good tenant for me.. Thank you for your response, Core Realty. I am not here to argue — I am here to state facts and protect future renters. FACT 1 — THE EMAIL EXISTS Your agency sent an email on 24/03/2026 with your company letterhead and logo, stating: "To ensure swift return of your bond, please use our recommended cleaner below." This is not an allegation. This is a document. Screenshots are attached to this review. FACT 2 — WE PAID $700 TO YOUR RECOMMENDED CLEANER We followed your instruction. We paid $700 to HM Home Service. You still withheld our full bond of $7,500. FACT 3 — ACTIVE LEGAL DISPUTE Two cases are currently active at RDRV/VCAT: RT269944 (filed by your agency) and RT2610040 (our counter-application). The tribunal will decide based on evidence — including your own emails. TO ANYONE CONSIDERING RENTING THROUGH CORE REALTY: Before signing, add explicit clauses to your lease about cleaning companies, bond deductions, and fair wear and tear. Do not assume verbal assurances will be honoured. Get everything in writing. We did not — and we are now fighting for $7,500. We will also be lodging a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria regarding the cleaning company practice, and sharing our experience with The Age and Herald Sun. The evidence speaks for itself.

I have rented through Core Realty for 4 years. The staff have been very easy to deal with and any issues had been attended to promptly. Upon vacating a few things needed to be sorted and they were prompt friendly and very professional. If I was a vendor I would highly recommend listing with this agency because they were extremely thorough and had the vendors best interests at the forefront. They were very easy to rent through also.
